When I initially saw these containers advertised, I thought they'd be just perfect for culturing the live food we need for our fish, (like microworms and such). When they arrived, though, they were just so much nicer than I expected -- thicker, sturdier, better made. I also had failed to realize what an amazingly perfect, super-useful size they are! (About 10" long, and 6" high and wide). These were clearly much too nice to use for culturing microworms. Clearly. So I changed my plan. Now, all of these lovely containers are going into my fridge (and pantry, if there are any left over), to help me keep things organized. In fact, half of them are already in there, full of deli meats, cheeses and apples. Turns out they are an amazingly perfect size for those packages of deli meats. (You know, the flat ones that are too long and skinny to fit in anywhere, so they get shuffled to the back of the fridge and go bad before you can use them up?)Well, those long flat packages fit nicely into these containers! I slip them in sideways, like file folders, so I don't have to take the whole stack out to find one package. It keeps everything tucked up together and organized and makes things soooo much easier to find. I started with a single container, but there was too much deli stuff knocking around my fridge to all fit. So I divided the deli meats from the cheeses, tucked them into containers and put labels on the ends. They fit nicely on a shelf, labels out, with room left over to stack the block cheeses between them. I just love them -- now I can always find the cheese! They also stack nicely with their lids on, and nest together when you're not using lids. The lids don't lock down, but they do sit down securely and not just slide off . . . I'm not using lids in my fridge, though, since deli stuff is already wrapped up and is easier to access without a lid.I'm so pleased with how much these containers have helped me organize things. Now I can find what I'm looking for, or check on what's running short in less than a minute. I'm enjoying feeling like one of those organized, minimalist folks. (Deceptive maybe, but still . . .)To be fair, these are not cheap containers, but they are so durable and sturdy and well made, I think they're worth it. And if I use them all up and need more, I think I'd rather pay for more of these, than use cheaper (but shoddier) containers. Definitely recommend.

I have mixed feelings on these containers, so I guess we'll do a pro/con list.Pros:- Clear containers so you can keep track of how the food is aging. It also helps me to be able to see the cut fruit/vegetables as a sort of reminder that they're there and I need to eat them!- They hold quite a bit. Each 6" container will hold an entire cantaloupe, an entire honeydew melon and half of a large watermelon. I can also generally fit a Costco pack of strawberries/grapes into a container too.- They're dishwasher safe - containers fit on the bottom rack, lids on the top. I air dry all of my dishes, so I don't know how they'll hold up if you use the dry cycle on the dishwasher- They stack on top of each other nicely. While the lids don't have any means of securing them to the container, they do sit down into the container so they don't just slide off.Cons:- The advertisement of the product shows 2.5" deep containers, which is what I thought I ordered and I got sent 6" containers. Be weary.- They take up a lot of space in the fridge. Because they're 6" deep, I can't stack them in the fridge, so I either have to dedicate an entire shelf to them, or use different containers.- They're awkward to store. Again, this goes back to anticipating the 2.5" containers. They do stack inside of each other which is convenient, but they take up a lot of storage space too. Stacking them inside of each other in theory saves space, but I can only go about three high before I have to start another stack.I was reading some other reviews on using them in the freezer, so maybe that's where I'll move them to!

I like having storage containers in my kitchen and fridge to group things together. These are VERY DEEP and can hold a lot - which can be a blessing or not, depending on your available space. They do nestle for storage, but are still large containers. The lids stay in place well. They are sturdy and thick, so I am not worried about breaking them and they clean easily.

I use these as food prep storage. I like that they came with lids so I can stack them in my fridge. Quality is very nice, price is fair.

These clear food pans have become a staple in my kitchen. The 6-inch depth provides ample space for storing leftovers and prepped ingredients. I appreciate how easily they stack, saving precious cabinet space. The tight-fitting lids keep food fresh whether refrigerated or frozen. While not the fanciest containers, they're durable workhorses that have held up well to regular use. The transparency makes it easy to see what's inside at a glance. Overall, they're a practical and reliable storage option for home cooks and meal preppers.

These are great containers. By no means is my kitchen a professional one, but these can be used in many ways. I use it for organizing stuff in my freezer. I have the drawer type freezer and they fit perfectly on either level. They have held up to freezing temperatures, unlike many plastic containers which easily crack. They also fit in my produce drawers which makes cleanup easier than having to pull out the whole drawer to clean. These are also perfect for food prep, especially for bigger meals like for a party. The measurements on them are very useful too. They have a wide opening and the shape makes them easy to stack and fit in the fridge. I have also used them to marinate food and proof dough. The plastic is thick and food grade, and doesn’t stain easily or leave a smell after washing. I have only hand washed them as I rarely put plastic in the dishwasher. The lids do not lock so I do not recommend transporting food in them. The grooves for the lids could be a bit deeper to make it easier to lift, especially since it becomes quite slippery when in the freezer. It is on the expensive side but I think it’s well worth it for the quality of the product. I would not hesitate to buy this set, especially if you are in the food industry.
