These are a great price for Truck-lite style strobe lights. I mounted these on the back of my equipment trailer. I often have to load/ unload in the street when I have a job to do with my equipment. With a strobe on the cab of my truck these now cover the people that are coming up behind me with the same strobe effect. While there were no instructions in the box they fit exactly where any Truck-lite oval grommet retained light would fit, even use the same connectors. I haven't tested to see if there are different flash patterns but will update if i discover there are. I will also update on longevity and waterproofing as I use them.UPDATE: there are three wires on this flasher light combo, Black is earth ground, Red is 12 volt + light flashes in set strobe pattern, power the yellow 12+ and the light is on steady. Since I installed these as strobe not a taillight I connected the black - and the red+.
