They're heavier than I thought they would be, feels sturdy. The blades mostly touch to strip the wire. Fits in my Ryobi and hyper tough!

These little gadgets make stripping and twisting wires a breeze. I'm not a pro, but these made my recent DIY project go a whole lot faster. First, you don't have to guess where to strip the wire back to. You get a uniform bare wire every time. The other little gadgets twist your wires or twist on your wire nuts, which is easy on the wrist. Even after a small project, your body will thank you.I would recommend turning your drill down to a lower speed and, if you have an adjustable clutch, turn it off the "drill" setting. This gives you a little more control. Or, if you have a small power screwdriver like I do, just use that. Again, more control.

I have been looking at videos showing electrician's tools like this this, that use your drill to strip and twist wires and apply a wire nut. Those products get mixed reviews and I was hoping this one would be better. And it is!This set includes everything: Strippers, wire twister, and wire nut application tool. The description says there is an AWG 6 stripper included, but there is not. No matter to me, as I never work with 6-gauge wire. It includes strippers for AWG 14, 12, 10, and 8, each of which mounts on a spindle that goes into the drill. You set stripping-length by moving the spindle more or less into the stripper head. The wire strippers work astonishingly well. Strips quickly and cleanly with no damage to the wire. One quirk: Some AWG 14 gauge wire that I have would not fit the insertion hole in the AWG 14 stripper (maybe because it is very old wire and the insulation is thicker?). I stripped it very easily using the AWG 12 stripper.I tried the strippers on various pieces of 10-, 12-, and 14-gauge wire (solid only) and it did a fine job on all.It took a little fiddling to set the depth gauge on the stripper. There are marking in cm on the shaft; I found a little less than 1.5 cm to be about right, giving me 1/2-inch of stripped wire. You can see in my photos how getting the depth wrong leaves a little exposed wire below the skirt of the wire nut.Next up: The twister. This is the one part that doesn't work 100%. It worked fine with two or three pieces of AWG 14, not quite as well when I combined two AWG 14 and one AWG 12.The wire nut tool worked well, though. I applied the nut without bothering to pre-twist the wires, then used the tool to twist it together. When I took the nut back off, all wires were bitten-into by the wire nut threads, though in one case with AWG 12 and 14 combined, the AWG 12 was bitten just in one small area, so in that case, I would take extra care to twist the wires, then apply the nut.It twisted the wire nut on very tightly—so much so that I had to use the tool to remove the wirenut,

This wire stripper set is a real time saver for anyone working with wires. Popped it onto my drill, started it up, and within seconds, the outer casing of the wire is stripped clean, super fast and easy. It's especially helpful on bigger projects where I’d usually waste time stripping wires by hand. The three sizes included cover most of the common wire gauges I use, and I appreciate the added wire twisters, nuts, and replacement blade, solid quality on all parts. Fits perfectly with my drill too, so it’s just plug in and go.Just a heads up: since it’s electric, it might strip a little too much on thinner wires, so you have to be a bit careful there. And if you work with wires that are much smaller or larger than what’s here, you’ll probably want different sizes to cover those.

When I initially started using this equipment, the first thing that struck me was how much quicker it was than the manual tools that I had been using in the past to strip wires. I was able to strip wires in a matter of seconds by just connecting the wire stripper to my drill, which I believe is wonderful for someone like myself who places a high importance on efficiency. Given that you routinely work on projects that need stripping several wires, I believe that this function alone makes the device worth purchasing, particularly if you do so frequently. I have the impression that I am able to do my task much more quickly without compromising the precision of my work, which is a significant accomplishment when you are working with electrical wiring. The kit includes three wire strippers, two wire twisters, and three wire nuts, which I found to be an effective combo for completing smaller jobs. While working on outlets or junction boxes, I believe that the introduction of wire twisters is a great touch since it helps keep things clean. This is particularly true while working on the outlets. In addition to saving me the work of manually twisting wires, I believe that the twisters enhanced the appearance of the connections by making them seem more orderly. In addition, the wire nuts are rather basic, but they proved to be useful throughout the installation process. I was grateful that the kit had everything that I needed.

I recently tried this drill wire stripper, and it completely changed how I handle wiring tasks. After installing it on my drill, I pushed the wire in and was amazed at how quickly it stripped the outer layer often in under a second. The five different sizes covered almost all the wires I typically worked with, from household projects to more industrial needs. I loved that the set included wire twisters, nuts, and an extra stripper blade, which meant I didn’t have to buy anything else. The 1/4 inch hexagonal shank fit my drill perfectly, so there were no compatibility issues. The high-quality materials felt durable, and I appreciated the thought put into the design. Initially, I had a slight learning curve, but once I got the hang of it, it became effortless. Overall, I found this tool to be a fantastic addition to my toolkit.
