I'm new at lunch needle craft but I'm really enjoying it. This punch needle set looks nice but I do believe it's missing the height measurement on the needle. Also the scre to hold the needle in place has nothing to hold onto so it could be an issue as it's being used to come loose. The quality of the handle does feel very nice and smooth. Overall, it is a nice set for punch needle but it could use some modifications to make it better.

As a kit for a beginner, this would probably be okay to try the hobby. However, it would make it difficult for a beginner to try and use since one of the needles was bent! Luckily for me, it was the smallest of the three needles in the set and I do not need it.The screw assembly will loosen as there is no diver or hole for the screw to settle into to give it the hold it needs. I took a hammer and a standard screw and punched a couple of divets at the heights I use to help hold the screw and so far it has worked fine.The medium needle (3mm I believe) has worked best for me with monks cloth and size 4 worsted weight yarn. The wooden handle is smooth and I haven’t had any issues with snags while my yarn was passing through.So, all-in-all it is a good set to buy to try your hand at this fun craft.

Id ordered this as a backup. I am new to needle punching and I already broke the first needle puncher that I have.I quickly broke into the bag that this came in, to save the day!
