I don't know how they say these are adult sizes? I am a ladies size 10, I ordered a large and i highly doubt a large would even fit a 6 stone size 6 lady. But it wasn't just small, it was ridiculously very small! Returned no problems but really please describe the sizing more accurately for other people.

Ordered 6-6X but its a childs not women's so can only assume its Age 6. Now have to faff about returning it.

Love the clear straps. Plus, you can cross in the back if need be. Which I understand some say the straps come loose..but if you cross in the back. That should fix this issue possibly. My daughter had no issues. The straps stayed out and she was able to wear under multiple outfits with no problem. Pleased with this purchase!

This served as a perfect liner to recital leotards and protected my daughter's modesty when changing backstage. Clear straps are adjustable and have several options for placement to ensure they are hidden as much as possible under recital leotard. Price is very reasonable, and we will get a lot of use out of this!

In a pinch, I ordered this as the leo for my daughter to wear under her costume in a ballet show. The normal undergarments we purchased I had waited to long to order a bigger size and receive them in time. This proved to be an excellent stand-in. It fit true to size and provided excellent coverage by not being too thin or have too much fabric to bunch up and wrinkle under her costume pieces. She said it was extremely comfortable and requested to switch to this brand instead of our usual ones once she had given this a try.

I also bought a women's size xs to compare to the child size large. The child size large fit my tall athletic 9 year old better than the women's since the legs are cut lower on the child's version and the torso seems to come up higher on the bust (the women's was low cut at bust). My only issue is that although you can place the clear straps in several ways, the actual straps are hard to adjust in length. This leotard is a bit wider in width than the women's version, so if you have a skinny child, there might be excess fabric and it will not look sleek. The color of this was light enough for my pale skinned child.

This is a great leo for underneath a costume. It is not substantial enough to be worn alone. The straps are clear and the back is low. Perfect for beneath a costume and for changing costumes in a group backstage. It was true to size. My daughter is slender and average to small in terms of height.
