Volume is lower than actual FM radio, because of this there is more engine noise in the audio system than is desirable because the stereo has to be cranked. Bass boost would be better with an attenuator. Form factor is neat but sometimes awkward. I knew all this before buying, but I got it anyway and I’m happy with it.

All the right features and buttons and lights and product use ergonomics you would like and expect for an FM transmitter for your phone or music player in a car (via BT), except the MOST important part... sound quality!!!So sad the manufacturer put a lot of thought into this product, but totally forgot to put a 21st century sound chip in it!! Sound quality is like an AM radio from 1957.I have three other BT to FM Transmitters for my cars and while none of them sound like CD quality they do sound like good FM quality. Not so for this one.

This bluetooth transmitter device is designed for use in car. It has various functions that enhance and simplify my time spent driving. It is super easy to use for anyone. No prior knowledge is needed and no level of tech expertise is necessary. It is for any older style vehicles with a cigar lighter socket and an FM radio. It supports 12V or 24V battery voltage, has a voltage detection display, and gives an undervoltage alert as well. Its great because I can just plug it into the socket which then enables me to be able to play music directly from my phone into my through the cars speakers.This device also acts a 54w fast charger for my car. It has 4 ports, including two QC3.0 USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. So I can literally charge up to 4 devices in my car all at the same time.The device as acts as a bluetooth 5.3 receiver and FM transmitter with a 2 core chip and it is equipped with noise reduction, and noise cancellation technology. Which so far in my experience works very well.This device offers more than one way to stream music. I can play music directly from my phone and it has a usb port that I can use to play music saved to a usb stick. It supports mp3, wav, ape, and flac formats up to 64gb.This device also helps support safe driving practices. It has a built in microphone. This means that I can answer, reject, or initiate a call back with just the simple press of a button . So instead of fumbling with my phone, I am able to keep my eyes on the road and my hands on the wheel.I am happy with my purchase overall. I love the convenience of being able to play music I already have stored and organized on my phone all while being able to charge my devices. Its a very useful device and I would recommend it.

My son’s grandfather gave him a 2001 car that did not have blue tooth.He uses this to play Spotify through his phone. His only complaint is that the volume is about 1/2 the max of just playing the radio.He originally wanted a new car stereo, but he is perfectly happy with this and even when offered a new stereo, chose to wait until he finds exactly what he wanted.Before this he was insistent on a new car stereo.
