Great for a cartilage piercing, definitely not a big enough diameter for a septum unless you want it to be snug. The hinge is a little stiff but that means it STAYS shut. I will say if you buy this for your ear, it'll go in normally from the front for your left ear but it'll have to go in backwards through the back for your left.

I love the design of the ring and the snake detail is unique and gives off a bold look. The material feels solid, and it hasn't irritated my skin at all, which is always a concern with jewelry. That being said, the size runs a bit small. It sits snug against my nose, which makes it a little uncomfortable over time, and taking it out was trickier than expected. If your nose is on the larger side, this might not be the best fit. But if the size works for you, it’s definitely a cool piece to have.

This is a super cute jewelry piece. It’s not so big that it hangs out of your nose. Easy to put in and stays in place. I haven’t felt like it’s going to fall out since using it.

The photos say that the diameter is 10mm but the description says 8mm. It is 8 mm. Doesn’t feel very cheap. Looks great.

Made for smaller noses. Cramps tightly against my button nose, was painfully to remove after the loss of blood circulation. Keep an eye on what models they use.

this was described as a septum ring. you would have to have the nose of n infant for this to work in a septum photo shows size compared to a Jeep FOB
