Used this to cut 1/8 inch pieces from 5/32 copper tubing. And in case you’re interested, I’m using the copper “washers” on my hand-made cribbage board. The cutter worked perfectly for making all 250 pieces. It’s a well build hand tool that will serve me well on future projects. Money well spent.

In my last job, I used to work with tubing all the time. Mostly stainless and copper. The company supplied the tools and they were always Rigid brand. This does not compare to those but it is perfect for a handyman or a DIYer. I also have a Benchmark tube cutter of the same size and I cannot tell much difference between the two other than this one may be a bit more expensive.Anyways, very simple little tool. Comes apart pretty easily for blade replacement and greasing. Glides smoothly along its tracks, turns in well, and cuts cleanly & straightly (yeah, that is a word). You can also use it for larger pipe than 7/8". Maybe as much as 1-1/8".Used it for a small kitchen project recently and am happy with it.Thank you for reading my review! 🙏

This works for cutting smaller diameter tubing, just be aware that the cutting wheels are brittle and can easily break if not careful.

This is for "DEVMO Mini Tubing Tube Cutter 1/8" to 5/8" Copper Brass Aluminum Iron Metal Pipe Cutting Plumbing Tools 3mm-22mm"Easy to adjust to cut pipe. A spare blade isn't provided. I think the Ridgid pipe cutter design is better for tight spaces.

The quality of this pipe cutter matches the price. It is slightly above average. A pipe cutter in my experience as a DIYer has been a buy for life type of thing. Even the cheapest one will likely work for years with irregular use. I don't see the need to spend Milwaukee prices for the odd cut in my own home. If you are a plumber then the higher price is likely justified.I cut a standard 1/2" copper pipe with ease. So it works as advertised. Quality will likely last, but if that is a concern then a Husky cutter from the big orange box store is a bit more but comes with their lifetime coverage. For me, this is great and good enough to get me through to the end of my show.
