These planes arrived very quickly and in very nice cases. They were both in plastic bags inside the cases and were well covered in a film of oil. The block plane was sharp enough to use right out of the bag but the number 4 plane needed sharpening.Both very nicely finished and I would say they give much more expensive planes a run for their money. You could spend time trueing them both with diamond plates but I don't need that sort of thing.I consider these planes to be well worth the money

El pedido llegó muy rápido, antes de fecha....Ya tengo el kit: Faithfull FAI PLANE4AV Carpenters Plane Set y estoy muy contento con el,Me decidí a comprar el Faithfull plane4avb número 4 y número 60 1/2 plano en bolsas de lona, y.., mola mucho más que la caja de madera.El ajuste de la cuchilla con el contra, es perfecto, llegó ajustada a 1.53mm, para mi es mucho, pero lo voy a dejar en esa medida, va genial..

Très bon produit, demande un léger affûtage avant la première utilisation pour être au top pour les très fines coupes , mais pas vraiment nécessaire pour un rabotage classique. Je recommande vivement.

Si, proprio così, sarebbe un ottimo prodotto, ma c'è un "ma".La pialla n° 4, la più grande nella confezione, è ok. Di solito questi attrezzi richiedono una affilatura preliminare prima di essere utilizzati, invece in questa pialla la lama è arrivata affilata decentemente.Non perfetta ma comunque utilizzabile da subito. L'oggetto è valido e ben rifinito. L'unica cosa migliorabile è la vite di regolazione della lama: se la facessero con passo fine sarebbe meglio perché faciliterebbe la regolazione. Infatti quando la lama è già a filo con la suola, una rotazione piccola della manopolina incide parecchio sulla sporgenza della lama e, considerato che una pialla da finitura, non è facile riuscire a regolare con precisione la profondità di taglio. Comunque ... è una pialla economica e si può sopportare, anche perché per il resto mi è parso un ottimo prodotto.la pialla piccola nella confezione, invece, sarebbe anch'essa un ottimo prodotto, se non fosse che ... la lama fornita in dotazione è affilata storta.Non solo non è in squadro, ma il filo non è nemmeno rettilineo, ed anzi ampiamente rientrate da un lato. Rimetterla in sesto è un'impresa perché, pur dotati degli attrezzi necessari (la dima di affilatura), portare via poco meno di 1 mm di errore con la normale attrezzatura di affilatura a mano è una impresa ardua nonché dispendiosa. Se non fosse per questo dettaglio l'oggetto sarebbe ottimo. Tuttavia, chi esegue il controllo di qualità di questo prodotto farebbe bene a cambiare mestiere ... alla svelta. Nessuna responsabilità sul venditore, ovviamente, che non può mettersi ad aprire le confezioni, smontare il prodotto e fare la verifica pezzo per pezzo. Il problema viene dal servizio di controllo qualità del produttore che, probabilmente, prima faceva il venditore di auto usate, e farebbe bene a continuare a farlo (con rispetto parlando per i venditori di auto usate, ma il controllo qualità non è il loro mestiere).
