I'm sure many of us have had bad experiences with flimsy plastic clothespins that break after a few months of use. Well these pins are nothing like the cheap plastic pins you may have used before. In fact, they they are far better than the wooden pins I have used. They are stronger and the springs STAY IN PLACE. I have been using them for over three years and have had only one break--I dropped it in the grass and it was digested by a lawnmower!

Sturdy and great grip. The plastic is durable and these are very well-made. Not Chinese junk.

These are very nice. No problems with it coming apart. Holds the clothes nicely and the size is large. Also nice for a cereal or chip bag clip.

I have been hanging up laundry for over 50 years. These are the best clothespins I have ever used. They don't twist open, are high quality, heavy duty and sturdy even in very gusty wind conditions. I'm impressed.

Should last some time. Currently in 40+C so will see how they last the summer. Seem robust enough and none have sprung apart like many of the cheaper products

Yes, they're very expensive and come all the way from Italy. But if 99% of what we buy comes from China, why not Italy??? I need reliable clothespins for two reasons: I live in Nova Scotia (hurricane capital of Canada), and I don't own a dryer. These do the job where all others will not.

My dad recommended these and plastic clothespins have come a long way! Only one problem, I can't hang my clothes the way I used to. With the wooden ones I could put the clothespin as far down onto the clothesline as I could and just grip the items without having to fold anything over the clothesline, avoiding creases or misshapen clothes. I had seen that way in a photo of a Mennonite woman hanging her clothes that way. Especially great with shirts and it didn't leave weird bumps where the clothespins gripped the clothes. I was surprised at this method and that it actually held the clothes without them falling to the ground. Can't do that with these so I might just give them to my dad and go back to the wooden ones. We don't have a lot of laundry between the hubby and me and the kids learned how to do their laundry as soon as they were able to teach the buttons. They learned to sort at a very early age though. I had 4 running around so I got stackable bins, wrote the words on paper, and also drew a picture of the laundry that would go in that bin, ie darks, lights, whites, jeans, towels, back when we had to sort because dark clothes bled onto lighter clothes and stuff like that. They also had to turn their clothes inside right and check their pockets. I had 4 all within a 6 year age range so any way to make laundry easier! And they liked the bins, it was like a game. FF a LOT of years, adopted the oldest granddaughter who's now 17 1/2 and she also has to do her own as well, she has quite a bit more laundry than we do and she doesn't like to hang her laundry lol I always liked hanging laundry as soon as I was able to reach the clothesline. Hubby built me a new wooden one with a shelf on each side for the laundry baskets that pulls up with a nice kitchen drawer handle that locks in place them I can put them back down. I just wish these clothespins worked like I'm used to doing, they are the sturdiest clothesline I've ever used.

Don’t hesitate to get these if you’re looking to never ever have to deal with old, rotted out and busted up clothespins. Heavy-duty and supremely durable, worth every penny. They’re not cheap price wise but you are getting quality...and you won’t be retrieving your line-dried laundry from your neighbour’s yard.

If you are serious about line drying your clothes, these are the best I have ever seen. They won’t twist apart, and will hold your stuff on a windy day. Made in Italy. That is usually a good thing, as far as I know. They pretty much don’t even use electric clothes dryers in Italy at all, so they don’t screw around with something as important as hanging your precious Italian linens. They don’t use clothes pins for arts and crafts projects like the cheap ones in North America are for. Just buy these.

If you want clothes pins that are sturdy like the ones when I was a child, then get these. I bought 3 different versions at the same time. These are the only ones I trust with my Jeans, Blankets, HEAVY bath towels. In fact, I bought a 2nd set for big laundry days! Really good spring coil like the old pins we used to have, but I lost them in my last move (grrrrrrrr). The plastic was smooth and I did not have worries they would catch on and tear my clothes.I was not sure I would like these b/c they are plastic. I have--HAD plastic ones about 10-20 years old (from Wal-Mart). Both those ones were thin--almost hollow, and they fell apart due to age and being kept in a storage locker for a year.THESE PINS LOOK AND WORK LIKE THE OLD WOODEN PINS I GREW UP WITH (I'm in my 40s). They are thicker and sturdy. These pins did not catch on my clothes and they could handle the windy days without a problem. I live in Iowa so it gets pretty darn windy--my favorite day to wash and dry blankets and sheets! These held up to the wind catching the fitted bed sheets and turning them into sailboat sails! NO PROBLEM!There was a large wooden option that was made in China. They were not bad, better than what you can buy in WalMart, and you got 100 pins for about 15 dollars. They were stronger than WalMart pins with about 6 coils, and definitely bigger. And they really thick heavy bath towels took 3 of the Chinese ones to make sure they did not come loose while hanging-- but a couple did in stronger winds. I was going to keep them and use them for lighter clothes--UNTIL I NOTICED THE NUMBER OF DEFECTIVE PINS. The Chinese wooden pins were not very well made-- at least 1/3 of them had chips, splits, or cracks in the wood, or they were not staying aligned and came apart. I ended up returning those back with the 3rd option. (If you buy the Chinese ones b/c of the price, order 2 of them, cull through both packages and return one order. But I would not trust them for my heavy or delicate items.). The third option I returned had a plastic hook, so you could double up clothes on the line-- like hanging a bra on the hooks with a shirt. But the main part was just too weak to hold clothes with any amount of weight and in stronger wind. Good idea but they need more work on the tension. I would buy them again if they fix that--or if I am hanging my clothes on an interior clothes line--like in an apartment or bathroom.I was going to purchase the clothespins that are made in America, and cost $2.00 per pin (but with lifetime warranty) to guarantee I had pins that I could rely on to have the proper coil strength for my laundry. BUT THESE ARE A GOOD, CHEAPER OPTION TO THAT! IF, I did not find these, I would have purchased the American pins. I average 2-3 loads of laundry per week--mostly sheets, towels, and blankets because nothing beats the smell of line dried clothes! AND NOTHING MORE AGGRAVATING THAN FINDING FRESH WASHED CLOTHES ON THE GROUND OR WITH A TEAR. And it helps me keep costs down on using a dryer and then additional A/C because of the dryer. My electricity usage has gone down a lot from the prior summer.(and I like helping Italy out purchasing their goods--what with they went through at the beginning of the pandemic).THESE ARE THE BEST TO BUY IF YOU DON'T, OR CAN'T BUY THE AMERICAN OPTION!!!

I was skeptical because they are not a cheap price. At first glance, I thought they short-shipped. I was pleasantly surprised that they had sent more due to the way it's packaged. Regardless I will be buying more and they absolutely work. They are strong. Have 2 different grip holes for thick or thin fabric and we'll worth the price.
