These tie rebar wire well. Fit and finish is excellent. If you want better concretors, there is a Zinc (I believe) coated alternative from the same company that is more resistant to the chemicals present in concrete. I wouldn't recommended these for general carpentry use, and would get a higher leverage nipper with shorter handles for that application.

They are very good but a bit too long for my type of work. It's my own fault for not buying a smaller pair.
