This camera was rather difficult to setup and pair for some reason. It was fully charged after about 6 hours and turned on easily enough, displaying a flashing red ring/light.The trouble came when trying to connect the camera to wifi. It detected the device immediately but continually timed out, (displaying an error message),after the displayed countdown ( a minute and a half) reached zero.It finally connected and I was able to see an image for a split second before disconnecting. A subsequent attempt the following day indicated that the battery was now empty.Unfortunately, this camera doesn't function as it should and there are just too many connectivity issues to warrant such a high price.

I wanted a simple, easy to use video doorbell to monitor my front door area and this product does a great job.The installation was pretty easy integrating between the app and navigating the wifi set up. There are voice prompts along the way to tell you that everything is working correctly. One thing that I was worried about initially was the wifi strength at my entrance to my house given where the network access points are located, but it did a fine job of connecting up.The picture that it casts is a pretty wide fisheye, which at first I found hard to view, but then what I like about it now is that you can see all over the place so it misses nothing from side to side and top to bottom.I mounted it with the screws provided, but they also provide 3 double stick strips if you want to just stick it to the surface.The doorbell has 4 different ring tones, two of which my wife said no to, but the standard one sounds great and it is loud enough to hear it throughout our house.Once you are up and running, you can set up the app to monitor motion as well as doorbell pressing.Overall - it was nice to install and I like that I can see it from anywhere, even talking to someone that might be at the door with the app in case I want them to just leave something at the door.

Like a traditional spy hole, the 180 degree fisheye lens gives me a full view of my porch without blind spots. It captures from head to toe, so I never miss a delivery or visitor. Within the app settings, I see it has a 2K resolution, which is higher than my phone’s screen is capable of. It has night vision that is sharp enough for me the faces clearly. I had to connect it to my 2.4GHz signal Wi-Fi using the app. The app’s setup steps include voice prompts. It took a short while to have the camera ready. Then I mounted it with the included adhesive strips. I use the free 7-day cloud storage, but I also added a microSD card for offline storage. I get instant notifications on my phone. The chime is loud enough to hear from anywhere in my house, and I have different ringtones to choose from.

Great affordable doorbell/camera. The webpage does a good job of describing the many great features of this camera. I will mention some of the features I like the most. I have been using this for about two months now and I am operating on battery alone. And the battery gauge indicates that I am still almost 3/4 charged. I should mention that the video does 'time out' after about a minute on Echo Show devices and much longer on my cell phone. That certainly helps conserve battery life. The battery is rechargeable which is important on a device of this type. I do have an extra solar panel to charge but I don't think it needs it!Picture quality is very good. I really like the zoom feature of this camera. Mounting it was a breeze. I used the included adhesive strips because I was mounting to vinyl. And it has held up perfectly for two months now. The best feature I like is that it connects through the CloudEdge App to my Echo Show devices. I can check on my yard remotely at any given time with a voice command. Very nice. This is the fourth camera I have on the CloudEdge App. There are lots of features that are cool that I don't use. It is nice to have them if I change my mind.One thing that I don't care for is the size of the picture. It is circular and smaller than other cameras. It is really designed for viewing what is directly in front of the camera which makes sense because its main function is a doorbell camera. With a crowded market for this type of product, it performs very well with surprising features at this price. Five stars from me.

I rate this 2k 3MP 180° wireless doorbell camera as 4 stars because its wide field of view, clear resolution, and subscription-free storage options make it an attractive contender in the doorbell camera market. I just needed a simple, quick and temporary solution for my dysfunctional wired old doorbell and this gives me the ability to have a working doorbell again, with also nice upgrades from the intercom to video (love 2k, don’t like the fisheye view lol) and solar-powered capabilities that all worked well during my trial runs. I appreciated that the doorbell can be temporarily installed, as I have it now, and then I can move it to its permanent location once I get the old doorbell working again.
