Rotate counterclockwise to open the lid and add kerosene. 2. Screw the scraper back and wait 2 Min, let the cotton and wick fully absorb the lighter fluid. 3. Please extend or change the wick by the steps as below. 1. Pull the steel scraper out by pliers. 2. Slowly pull the wick out, stop pulling if you think it’s long enough. Please directly change the wick if it’s too short to wrap the scraper. 3. Put the scraper back to the middle of the wick, and then lightly hammer it back to the pipe. 4. The exposed part of the wick should be at least half of the length of the exposed scraper. Horrible doesn’t even work and more trouble than it’s worth. I took to a friend and he couldn’t get it to work either. It was 699 wasted but too much trouble to take the time and gas to return horrible product.

I knew it wouldn't hold much, but it leaks out in a week's time. everything is as tight as I can make it.It works well as far as lighting the match goes.

These 'forever match' keyring style items all seem to have 1 major issue, they dry out fast even without use.

I received the "lighter," but it turned out to be a small package containing nothing more than a rubber gasket and a wick. No actual lighter. Not worth the time and effort to return what I received.

Bought as part of a birthday present for dad - he's outdoorsy and generally likes stuff he can use in nature. He loves it. Perfect color and small enough to hang on his keychain or stick in a bag. He filled it with fluid and lit it on the first strike. Definitely gonna order one for myself for camping
