The newest addition to the V-Drums personal-monitor family is the PM-03. Slim and stylish, this space-saving monitor adds a new dimension of sound for V-Drummers - it's the first 2.1-channel monitor in the PM series, providing a clean, clear stereo image, plus low-frequency coverage. From thunderous lows to sparkling highs, the PM-03 will enhance your personal V-Drums sessions with full-frequency impact. It's the perfect match, aesthetically and aurally, for Roland's HD-series V-Drums, but all electronic drummers can plug into the PM-03 as well.

I wanted a small V-Drum monitor for home use. The Roland PM-03 seemed perfect; only 30W, fit right behind the snare, and the two top-pointing speakers seemed like they'd provide a nice stereo field. It was easy to set up and use, but unfortunately, it just didn't sound very good. There was very little stereo separation, the highs were tinny, and the toms sounded muddy and unpleasant. Someone suggested that the independent woofer control could be adjusted for better results, but I didn't find that to be the case. Even low-quality headphones sounded better. I decided to return it.I liked the idea of an all-in-one, low-profile, low-volume, stereo practice monitor, but the PM-03 just didn't deliver.

Perfect for my needs. Good sound. Obviously, not for serious amplification. Works well in my condo and I am really happy. I would encourage any hobby-style drummer who wants a drum monitor but doesn't want to offend neighbors and who doesn't want a giant amp sitting in their living room to consider it.

My twelve year old son recently started playing a digital drum set. He is currently using a set owned by our church, as he plays in the praise band. The church also has a very nice amp, but lugging it back and forth was a bit much. We decided to invest in this amp so he could have an amp at home with out lugging the other one around all the time. It is small and compact and seems to work well. He has his drum set up in the basement and I still have to ask him to turn in down at times. A very nice feature I might add. :) Set up was easy. Perfect for our needs.

Its a very good portable speaker . You can almost connect any musical equipment to it. We'll if you have a very small room like mine its nice to have one like this . I connect my v-drums to it and it sounds impressive it has a very clear tone and at small volume its pretty loud . I'll recommend to all who play drums in a small space.

I'm glad that the price came down on this monitor. I've had the Roland drums for a while, and held off on buying the monitor. It is fine for practice...and the occasional house concert.

It sounds clean and good if you want to have a headphones pause. Perfect for home drumming, not for live gigs though.

Finally got round to purchasing one of these for my V drums. Ive been using headphones since buying the drum kit but this speaker is a great addition.Simple to set up and marries to the V drums perfectly with two 6.35mm jack plugs. I bought a 1.5m twin cable for this purpose which was perfect.Great quality sound with the volume and base level being adjustable. Its a great addition to the music room. Highly recommended.

Overpriced tinny-sounding gutless piece of crap that distorts badly. Roland has put a lot of effort into their v-drum samples, as well as customization options in their sound modules, and then throw it all away if they realistically expect you to listen to them through this.

I thought this would be a good amp for my Roland electric drums but it is more of a toy. For $200, the cost of this item, I was able to buy a Behringer key board amp that is much bigger and sounds way better. Don't bother with this product!
