Pricey? Yes. BUT, they are period accurate and they did have a noticeable tonal improvement in my use case. Anything your string touches is important, and it’s worth the price for something of quality. The intonation screws and saddle screw holes are machined well and are buttery smooth to adjust. The fender stuff tends to use cheap screws that get mushy and strip when the string intonation needs to favor tightening away from the fretboard. Buy once cry once.

My 12 year old Callaham saddles we’re getting grooves in them which was affecting tone and tuning. I thought I’d give these saddles a shot as I had also just replaced my springs with the Raw Vintage springs. These were a perfect fit and were super easy to install. Tip: put a piece of paper under your old saddles and tape it so it doesn’t move. Then mark the place where each saddle lines up. When you put the new saddles on you can line them up with the marks so as to have the guitar more closely intonated (assuming it was intonated to begin with).
