I bought a new Sony AVR receiver and new Fluance Tower speakers. I was using older Monster speaker wires from about 30 years ago which were much longer than I needed. These were perfect for both the Sony receiver (tight fit) and the Fluance speakers - (easy fit)! Great sound, too!

These are the highest quality banana plug cables I've found on Amazon for the prize. They're very well made with heat shrink and reinfored connectors. The insulation is so thick you'd think these are much thicker than 16 gauge.
