The Stanley 1-3/8-Inch Replacement Cutter for Plane #12-060 is ground to provide a flat surface that is easier to sharpen. This replacement plane iron is made from hardened and tempered high carbon chrome steel which have excellent edge retention characteristics and allow a razor sharp edge to be honed. Designed for use with planes prior to the "G Series," the cutting width is 1-3/8 inches. The iron is supplied with an accurate ground edge of 25 degrees; however, finishing with an additional honed angle of 30 degrees is recommended. This cutter comes with Stanley's limited lifetime warranty.

been looking for blades for my 60 1/2 block plane for over a year non of the tool merchants can get them without going to stanley in the usa and the price of postage is ridiculous, can buy a new modern plane for less . my plane is about 60 yrs old used almost every day by myself so got sentimental value too . so really glad i found your site extatic that when it came it was a 2 for 1 offer i didnt relize that when ordering that you very much
