Tekton Angled End Handled Pry Bars are made with a bar stock that's heat-treated to balance strength and toughness. The black oxide finish won't flake or chip off. The end of the pry bar is angled for prying and positioning: slide in between materials or under objects with the pry bar's chisel tip, then use the angled end of the bar as a fulcrum to push apart or lift up the workpiece. The 1-inch diameter solid steel striking cap is designed to be struck by a hammer. The end of the cap directly contacts the bar stock so that any force you apply is effectively transferred through the tool. The large polypropylene handle is impact-resistant and unaffected by most fuel, solvents, and common chemicals. It's lightly textured to provide your hands extra grip when working. The included hanger is made from 12 gauge powder-coated steel with a textured finish. It's designed to fit Tekton pry bars and comes with two flanged screws for mounting. The top tabs secure the pry bars in the hanger so they can't fall off.

Needed a set that wasn’t as beefy as the mayhew pry bars but could still pack a pry. Striking caps look good. Handles feel good. Oem is Wilde which make pry bars for many different stores and brands. Craftsman, masterforce, hyper tough to name a few. I went with tekton due to their warranty claimsThese are 100% made in USAOne photo next to the mayhew denominator comparable 45” pry bar.

Rest of the shop uses Snap-On, Milwaukee, Krutch, etc.Then they saw mine. Now it seems that everybody wants to use them, as well as not wanting to return them in timely manner.They are worth it, save a buncha $$$ over the "Red Handles" and "Blue Handles" but do the same job.Already abused the 48" bar, no damage other than dirt.
