This product did not work at all. I had the right style of cleat for it but it was too big to fit and broke when I tried to attach it. Wish I could give a zero star rating.

If you never plan on taking them off of the pedals, they'll be fine. The tabs will break before the clip releases them. And the pedals were on the least tension. They are an inexpensive option if they will become a permanent fixture on your bike. If you want to pop them on and off as needed, you'll need another option.

The plastic is very brittle. I installed them and tried to ride with my clip in TMB shoes hoping I would be able to ride these as the flat side and flip them over to clip into the other side. Nope. Will not allow me to clip in the other side. If you want to install these and ride them without clipping in, they will work to do that. But you can't get them back out without them breaking. I will be sending back the broken pieces for a refund.

I always ride with SPD and turned the old red sled into a cruiser. For jump on the bike short chores, to the pool in flip flops, or loaning to a friend this is a great solution. Better than pedals with SPD on one side. They pop in and out by hand, making for an ez transition from full to half SPD.

Cracked when installing.Addendum: I was just contacted by the seller who offered a full refund in spite of the fact that I bought the item months ago. That's classy. Thank you for the offer, Thinvik!

I purchased 2 pairs for my family as there are some days we don't want to use our mountain bike clipless shoes so I thought I'd try these 'in between' or 'hybrid' convertible platform adaptors for our Shimano SPF pedals.RESULT:* Product does not fit well with Shimano SPF pedals.* Very difficult to install, even with completely 'dialing' back the adjust nuts.* Once you got it in, good luck getting it out. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it out per bike.* Durability is not there. I'd go with metal vs plastic or go completely to a new pair of bike pedals that have both clip and clipless built into the pedal.Do not buy these.

My husband has a couple bikes and likes clip ins. I hate clip ins so this is the perfect solution so we don’t have to replace the entire pedal! Not quite as easy as I thought it would be to install but they’re great! Keep in mind you need to buy two sets of two if your pedals have clip ins on both sides or it’ll be uneven!

Original Review below. UPDATE: After posting my review the supplier reached to me and offered a full refund for these. While this was more than generous, I do intend to try to use them as modified / noted below, so I don't feel right taking the credit. I did up my review from 2 stars to 4 though because of their customer service. Just know if you have pedals like my XTRs, where the screw on the other side sticks out, these adaptors will not work without modification.I ride clipless pedals on my mountain bike, but the pedals are not comfortable with out clipless shoes on. I do a lot of events a year where you are parking further away from the event and riding the bike back to the after party or packet pick up is easier than walking, just uncomfortable on the feet. It's not a big deal in regular shoes but was looking for more of platform for comfort. Came across these problem solvers. Out of the package they did not work with my xtr pedals. The front was hitting the front of the pedal not allowing it to toe in. Luckily they are just delirin and a hack saw and file cleared enough material to make them work. So that was strike one. The second strike was that they are small. They're no wider than the pedal, only longer. I'll give them a go for now as I own them, but wish I would have went with the larger metal ones and added my own cleats. Having to use a tool to put these on and off also is a bit annoying but not the end of the world as I'm not sure how the metal style will work...
