I brought this unit onto a Carnival Firenze cruise ship with my family and it ended up working great, allowing me to charge several USB devices at once from a single outlet behind my bed. The charging outlet also was of the two pin overseas variety, and so I was able to utilize this device, despite us residing in the US. It's great value, allows charging of multiple devices from a single outlet, and is easily packed into luggage. Build quality and durability seem pretty solid. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a travel charger like this.

If you are traveling abroad, having power converter adapters are not only a convenience, but a necessity for powering any electronic devices.This one not only works as an adapter but also converts the voltage from 220v down to 110v ensuring I don't overload my chargers. I know things like my laptop charger can be powered using voltage from 110v to 220v but I am more concerned about dirty power and spikes from possible unstable electricity in some of the places I travel. Having this just gives me peace of mind that I am not going to damage my laptop or cell phone. This adapter/converter has multiple plug types (A, C, and Y) and covers every outlet I encounter. The converter itself feels sturdy and well-built. I like the fact that there are three spare fuses as well as overload protection, over power protection, short circuit protection, and overheating protection. The automatic shutdown safety features reassure me that this device will protect my electronics from surges or short circuits. A huge plus is that it actually converts the voltage, unlike other "converters" I've tried that only adapt the plugs.While it's rated for appliances up to 880 watts it may not be suitable for power hungry devices like hair dryers and blenders, it is more than sufficient for laptops and cell phones. And works perfectly for my needs. I definitely recommend this converter to anyone traveling internationally who needs to use their American electronics safely. It's compact enough to easily pack and has the features to make sure your devices are protected.

I suppose there’s always a first and this is definitely the first product that completely failed to deliver. I wanted to be sure the converter worked and with my multimeter, I checked the voltage output and instead of 210 to 110, I measure 210 to 40 VAC. And the verdict? A total piece of junk and now that I’m living overseas this won’t even serve as paperweight. Off to the bin it goes.

Great adaptor. I love that I can use it for visiting many different continents and don't need a separate charger for each one. Just think through what sorts of things you will plug in. Pretty much everything I have just needs a USB port, so a charger with multiple USB ports is best for me.

The SARQW Travel Converter came through on a recent trip where I had to plug in U.S. appliances in a UK hotel. Stepped down voltage cleanly and charged everything without sparks or overheating. Small, lightweight, and fits snugly in outlets — must-have if you travel a lot.

Got this for a recent trip to Japan. Didn't need it, lol. The hotel headboard had usb charging ports all you really need there is a three prong to 2 prong adapter. It might work well in a wall socket, it was a bit heavy to use in the hotel desk outlet. not too heavy in my bag and didn't take up a lot of space in my bag, so that was nice since I didn't actually use it there.
