Work well, but took a week to arrive, which normally I would not complain about if not for the fact I went to Walmart the day after I ordered them and they were only $4.33 there. Nothing like paying 60% markup by buying them direct. What a buzz kill.

We used this on our last camping trip. It was windy and these matches lit up and got the fire started quickly. We are impressed. We will be buying more.

It works, the time is more like 5 minutes on a 7 minute setup. The wind didn't stop it and it is good to start a fire with. It will work in a survival situation.

I first saw these mentioned on the CoalCrackerbushcraft YouTube channel. I am AMAZED at how effective these are. Like a match and fire-starter in one. A very small lightweight package provides sustained fire for an extended period of time to get a fire going. Ignites like a small road flare, spewing flames several inches. I highly recommend, can't believe these aren't for sale everywhere that outdoor gear is marketed. Box contains two small packages of starters and an extra strike strip, perfect for splitting up between packs or users. Will absolutely purchase in future. Please note: flames are energetically produced so don't use as a replacement for a common match indoors, in vehicle etc. I can definitely see this product being the difference to someone getting home alive in cold wet weather (PA for example).

These light up quickly so be right by the campfire when you light them. They work great at starting a fire!
