The upper level of this stool is only very slightly smaller than the lower. As a result, when you step on the lower level, your shin hits the upper level. It's very awkward to step up to the second level. I need to hold on to something to do so.Other manufacturers provide an indentation for your shin so the stool can function like a step. Steps are not placed directly above each other! When you step up, you step forward. Not so with this stool.This stool cannot be unassembled, so I have been unable to return it. I sure would if I could, it's unusable.

I use this stool in my laundry room for my front loading washers. It is great to sit on and it lets me get to the high stuff on the shelves above the washer and dryer. I weigh 300 lbs and fell very safe on this stool.

We've been needing something like this for a long time in our kitchen. First floor is almost hardwoods so I wanted something that would roll easily, but not mar the floors. This stool does that and is very sturdy as well. Takes a bit of pressure to seat the top portion into the base (the only assembly required), but it's a solid connection - no fear that they will separate when stepping on it.The finish is great and just feels like a well-made product in general. Would absolutely buy again.

I needed a higher than usual rolling step stool that would accommodate more than the standard weight. This one was so easy to assemble, just snap the top part into the bottom part! I am so happy with this rolling step stool.We use it in place of the folding ladders that can be cumbersome and awkward to use in tight spaces. I seldom stand on the lower portion I need the added height afforded by the higher top step. It moves into position with ease. Highly recommended!

It is perfect at what it is designed for! Rolls easily and has a bit higher height for the vertically challenged.
