Regardless of the age of the person, or their size or weight, this step stool is a hazard and is not safe for any child or adult to stand on it or use it as a step stool. As designed and made, this stool is not safe. The 4 angled legs do not set flush with the floor. Rather, only the edges of each leg make contact with the floor. The end of each leg needs to be cut at an angle in order for the feet to make full contact with the floor. Also, the top surface needs to be wider in order to help prevent tipping. This stool should ONLY be used for holding plants, books, a radio, or some other non-living item. This step stool was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This little stool is perfect for kids as a place for sitting or standing, or for placing a houseplant on. Although, I would advise to use it for standing for older kids since if you get to the edge it can easily fall over.The wood is sturdy and is unfinished so you can stain it the way you like or paint it.It was easy to assemble and took me maybe 2 minutes to screw the legs on and place on the felt pads. It came with 4 felt pads, no extras.Overall, it’s true to its listing, it’s good quality, and I’m happy with it!

This review is for the SOOPURKIDS Wooden Step Stool for Kids, 10 Inch.Easy to put together. Instructions were included but not necessary. The bolts seem sturdy enough to support my 260 lbs. There's no finish on the wood. It's ready (or at least mine) to either stain, paint, or just polyurethane. Mine needs zero sanding.This item was delivered promptly and was well packaged.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes.

This stool is easy to assemble and sturdy. It is a nice height for kids to sit or stand on. The description says something like "don't worry about getting it dirty because it can be cleaned with a damp cloth." Sure, minor messes could be cleaned up with a cloth but the wood is unfinished so it will be damaged by water and stained very easily. I'm looking for something a little more damage/stain resistant if kids will be using it. I plan to coat this stool with polyurethane to make it a little more robust.

This stepstool was very easy to assembly, just a few minutes. It is solid wood with strong metal brackets and supports up to 300 pounds. It works well as a stepstool and would also make a nice plant stand. The only drawback is that it is unfinished and would need at least a clear coat finish for greater durability.

The stool is good an sturdy, and is easy to assemble. It is smooth and lightweight, but I would recommend finishing it. You'll want to seal the wood with some varnish or something since it's just raw, and will eventually develop splinters. Otherwise I'd say it's pretty good for the price. Knocking off one star for it being unfinished.
