Good for the money. A bit “cheap”. If you have any major projects get something stronger.

Solalithosys 6 pack woodworking clampsIf there is any tool that a woodworker never has enough of it’s clamps. This set consists of 2 6” bar clamps, 2 12” bar clamps and two spring clamps. The bar clamps are sturdily made and feel like they can take a lot of load. A lot of less expensive bar clamps are lightly made and don’t have much clamping force. These seem to be an exception. They can be quickly changed from “clamp” mode to “spreader” mode if you need to. I seldom use bar camps in “spreader” mode. The release lever used to take pressure off the clamp works very well. The spring clamps are pretty much standard except that they have strong springs. I was just barely able to open the clamps to their maximum width. This is a good thing. I really dislike spring clamps with wimpy springs.Overall, this is a nice set of clamps and will be very useful in any woodworking shop.

There are many competitors and options for similar styles of bar clamps, and some are definitely better than others. This particular set is definitely on the solid end of the options, and - for the price - I'd be confident stocking my shop with these any day.The overall construction of the bar clamps is very solid, including steel center bars and stout molded plastic clamp ends that are strong-enough to apply full clamping pressure without visibly distorting. The orange pads don't leave marks, and stay put when they're clamped in place. The indispensable feature of being able to flip the end is also included, turning any clamp into a pusher instead of a clamp (this is an amazingly helpful feature with a myriad of applications!)The clamps are comfy in the hand, operate strong and smooth, and release gently. The spring-loaded squeeze-clamps (not sure of the proper term) are of great quality as well, and look up to the task of clamping all sorts of things together. Also, being stoutly molded from plastic, they're likely rather weather resistant, which will make these great for securing things outdoors in bad weather. Therefore, altogether, this is a very competent set of clamps that gives the big-name brands a serious run for their money.

There work well for cheap clamps built pretty decent and multiple sizes so you have choices. They hold pretty good nothing like say one of the big names brands at 300 foot pounds I don't think so. But they do work for smaller stuff just fine. The material is plastic with metal backed bar and slides. The squeeze clamps are real decent and I like them most of all for quick grabs. Overall not too bad and a good choice for a budget mindset. How long will they last who knows but they are reasonable prices and they do work as they should.

These clamps work great. I like the variety included. They are strong and easy to use. The largest size is decent but there will still be times when you might need something bigger depending on what kind of projects you do. I think it's interesting that the ends are made to be able to come off at the push of a button, I'm not sure how that would be useful but I'm sure someone out there knows.

Look, clamps can get REALLY expensive, REALLY fast. You often need variety, but you usually have to pay for quality. Seems to be a good balance with this set.Bar clamps seem pretty sturdy, center bars are made of steel. Ends are plastic clamps. They seem to have a strong hold...haven't slipped yet that I've seen. Pads are soft/firm balance so they don't leave an imprint on your surfaces.I have a few pairs of bar clamps like this and never knew you could operate in the opposite motion, to push apart, rather than hold together. I really like that feature and am excited to test it out.Bar clamps release easily and have soft smooth surfaces. That just changes over time/use.The spring-loaded clamps are straightforward. I like them. They seem to have a solid hold. I recommend these for those aren't super serious about woodworking/building stuff as they're going to do the job.

I am new to furniture repair, having purchased several vintage items to be used in a friend's new apartment. Another friend, an expert woodworker, told me to purchase a varied set of clamps to make my gluing repairs easier, and I found these. I haven't started my repair work yet, but my expert friend took a look at them and said they will do the job well and the price is reasonable. He mentioned that they are a bit sticky when releasing, but that that should work its way out with a bit of use

I've bought clamps similar to these ones in the past, and I like this set better for a few reasons. These ones are inexpensive but good quality for the price, the F-clamps are easily reversed into spreaders, and the variety of sizes means being able to choose the right clamp for the job at hand. The only criticism I can think of is that the spring clamps are hard to use one-handed, but that's because the springs are strong and the handles are far apart so they have a larger range of motion. They have good reason for being designed as they are.
