I like tools. I use edge banding all the time on plywood projects. This is a very well designed and executed edge band trimmer. I have the basic plastic trimmer that I have been using for years. This is in another league. It's basically a small plane. The body feels like iron, well made with clear plastic laminate on the bottom and sides to make it slide easier. The blade is very substantial and very sharp. There are two adjustments on the blade one for depth and the other a side to side adjustment. I did not touch either and I was able to trim some cherry edge banding perfectly. It does come with 2 spare blades which I don't think I'll ever need as I can sharpen the one in the plane. In the world of tools this is a winner. Great build quality, well designed and works beautifully. $10 more than the plastic one I have and worth every cent. If you do any edge banding get it, you won't regret it.

I am so happy I saw this on Amazon! I have been working on recovering some furniture with various srufaces ranging from thick hi-gloss laminate to contact paper and it takes so much time to carefully edge the pieces. With this tool, the job is done in a quarter of the time. I love that it comes with extra blades. My only ask wouldbe that perhaps it included a protective case, but I'm making sure to wrap it oddly enough in tin foil, just to keep me from nicking my fingers on the edge while hunting in my tool box for this. It's a great tool!

The blade on this edge banding trimmer is super sharp and comes with 2 extra blades. The adjustable design makes it super easy to use. It's been incredibly useful for me—highly recommended!

Rock solid little edge banding trimmer. The preinstalled blade is very sharp and it comes with a few extra down the line. Just like any small plane, you'll need to set the blade height appropriately, but other than that, very functional and a good value.

This is a solid little cutter. I've used it on wood veneer and it worked great. It's big enough and weighty enough that it doesn't want to wander a lot. The blade is very sharp and it makes a very clean cut at the edge.I wish it came with instructions. There are two adjustments. One is the blade depth and the other is where the blade emerges from the cutter. If you have particularly thick or thin veneer, it would matter. I used the settings out of the box and it was fine. I think it'd have to do a lot of experimenting to get it right for other products. That said, I monkeyed around with it a little and I figured it out.It comes with a few extra blades and a little allen key for adjusting the blade.I like this product a lot and I'm glad I got it. I'd get another if I ever needed to.

Seems to work fine and appears to be a pretty heavy duty quality tool. It's thick and being all steel has a good weight to it, which helps with controlling it through the cut. A nice added feature is they lined both contact surfaces with acrylic making it slide extra smooth. Simple tool. It works pretty much like any other small plane in that you loosen the blades bolt and adjust its depth and contact angle. Then it's just a matter of holding it tight against your work and sliding it along the edge cutting off the excess waste.Seems pretty solid and they supply two extra blades which should keep it going a good long time. I docked one star as it seemed a tad high compared to some I've seen that can cut both edges at once. That said, there's nothing wrong with it, It works fine and certainly worth a purchase.
