I purchased these hoops to use in my lip piercings, and I haven't had any irritation from them after about a year of use. The variety of sizes are very convenient for finding a good fit. In particular, the hoops work quite well and only fell out during eating one time! They're so comfortable that I forget I'm even wearing a them.The horseshoes, relying on the threaded bead ends, are more prone to falling off. I'm fact, I would recommend finding additional ends if you plan to wear the horseshoes in a piercing that's subjected to a lot of stress, such as in the lip. I ended up giving up on them because they were too much of a hassle to retighten repeatedly with hemostats.I do believe these are genuine 316L stainless steel. They passed the magnet test (they are not magnetic) and have not tarnished at all. In fact, they've retained a shine extremely well, despite being worn in my mouth for months.

Highly recommend if you have a lot of piercings! Lots of sizes and they give you 2 of each. Some of the clasps were tricky to get on though.

I got them because it was just what I was looking for but I was missing a ball on two horse shoe rings. Kinda a bummer but I guess.
