One of the better manual expansion PEX tools. The head spins for a more even expansion-- the long levers help for 3/4 PEX (which is still very hard, to be sure)

Definitely I like this expansion approach better than the cinch or clamp rings approaches; I haven't tried it with 3/4 or 1 in but I'm sure it would be a good workout for my arms!

Self ratcheting feature is very useful. Tool is well made, includes lubricating grease for pilot piece, and pex tubing cutting tool. Used it for 11 joints, made quick work out of the job.

Except one issue... It does have the auto rotate feature to prevent uneven pressure marks inside your pex, but unless you have the space to fully 100% open and close the handle it may not actuate. Also, of you are at a strange angle and there is some pressure on the expander tip when you go to open and close the handle for another stretch it sometimes doesn't rotate in that situation either. Otherwise I'm happy to have it for the smaller projects I am using it for. Sure beat buying the battery powered name brand automatic set for hundreds of dollars.
