I just put it together and have been sitting on it for about 30 minutes. It was easy to put together but there is a red cap you have to remove that was STUCK on there. If that happens to you, just poke a hole in the top with a nail to release the air inside. Then it slides right off.It requires a little more effort to put the stool down but goes up pretty easily. I have ADHD so I love the wobble… I’m always moving which is why I wanted a standing desk in the first place, but my knees sometimes need a break which makes this a perfect stool for me. I’ll update the review if my opinion changes but so far it’s great and everything I wanted.I’m using this on top of my walking pad at a standing desk for the times I need to rest my legs. I like that the entire bottom is rubber so I feel like it won’t damage the walking pad. I guess only time will tell. The seat cushion is comfortable and covered with a cotton/canvas type cloth. I’m not having any issues with slipping off while wearing leggings or jeans. If you have something to rest your feet on it will help you with better posture as you get used to engaging your core muscles.Hot Tip: For the short people struggling to use this at a standing desk, get something to rest your feet on for stability. It is a wobble stool so it’s not gonna be stable unless your feet touch the ground, which makes it tough to sit fully on the stool if you can’t touch the floor. I just set my feet on the back edge of my desk and it works great. For reference, I’m 5’7” but longer in the torso so for the seat to be tall enough to reach my standing desk, I’m not able to touch the ground unless I’m just perched on the edge of the stool. But if I put my feet on the crossbar of my desk for balance, I can set all the way on the stool.

This seat is great. The adjustable height allows you to sit like a chair, bar seat, or anywhere in between. Wobbling of the unit provide your spine 360 degree movement to provide pain relief and keeps you flexible. I purchased the black one and it fits my office nicely.

I love the stool. Putting it together was fairly easy except that I am rather lightweight (127 lbs) and had to throw all my body on to it to adjust the height and make connections the first time. It may get easier as it is broken in, but it really helps with a hamstring injury so I can deal with it.

I have lower back pain and have to sit a certain way. I have found this chair to not only relieve most of the pain while sewing but it allows me to move with my work. Be careful with the leans and twist. One can get a little happy and slip which is no liability to the seller but too much fun while twirling and turning!

height adjusters (just under the seat) fail to keep the seat below maximum

Just got this stool and used it for the first time in my office today but I already absolutely love it! The stool shipped out quickly and was very easy to assemble by myself, no tools required. This stool height can be adjusted for my stand up desk at both the lowest and highest setting.I love the freedom of movement I have on this stool and how it activates my core and pelvic muscles. I have high hopes that using this is going to help alleviate chronic hip and lower back pain.

The stool is sturdy and works well, quality is good. The seat at the top is too square and a bit sturdy which after sitting on it for a few minutes becomes very uncomfortable and started to cause low back pain. I wanted to re-pack it nicely to return it, impossible task. I hate to return something that will probably go to waste, but I can't keep something I am supposed to use everyday and simply doesn't work for me.

Started a return on this but couldn't manage to take it apart to box it up so now I'm stuck with a 140 piece of junk. Stool slowly collapses when sitting/leaning on it and base was cracked with 2 huge cracks that look run from the center of base to edge. Boxed as if it was used and returned. Really tired of purchasing products that are supposed to be new but are clearly returns and very clearly damaged.

Bought this for the workplace and it's perfect for our needs. It came well packaged with easy to follow instructions. I would buy this again as it's priced right compared to alternatives in the retail stores.

1st- This was purchased as an Amazon refurbish but was listed "as new". Amazon should have checked it before sending it out. There was no instructions and the adjustment was defective.2nd- Either the button for the cylinder valve was sitting too high or the shoulder where the cylinder sets inside the seat was too low. The result was that the cylinder valve would open when weight was put on the seat thus the air would leak out and the cylinder would drop to the bottom with no ability to adjust the height.Amazon did offer me either a return with full refund or a discount if I was able to repair the seat and keep it. I opted to repair it and take the discount for which Amazon made good immediately. If you have the same issue the repair is simple using a spacer in the hole where the cylinder fits on the seat. The measurements for the spacer is as follows: Use a round piece of stock with OD no greater than 21.45mm; Bored out in the center with an ID no less than 11.35mm and use a thickness of 1.3mm. If you find a washer that fits these dimensions use that but I don't recommend using a rubber washer as the rubber will compress and degrade. I machined a piece out of stiff nylon that works very nicely. It allows the seat to rotate easily and it's made out of a material that's softer than the steel of the cylinder so I don't have to worry about eroding the top of the cylinder over time.

Worked so well yesterday, easy to put together, the pneumatichydraulic function worked super well, went up, went down very smoothly, seat was pretty comfortable, wobbled but never fell over. Used it to sit on and lean on for about 9 or 10 hours of work.Today, about half way through my desk. it just started sinking. I looked underneath to see if any of the buttons to adjust it were stuck, didn't look like it. I noticed that the plastic cap that covers the piston got detached. I sat on it again after rasiing it, and it started to sink down slowly as if i had the buttons depressed (did not). when i raised it to lean on it, if i leaned on it at a certain angle it would be fine, but most times it just started sinking right away.Pretty much a bustreturn if i can't figure out why it's no longer staying up. Pretty disappointing.

Great stool, had a bit of issue getting it setup & somewhat stiff initially to adjust, but really like it.Good movement on it, nice solid heavy base for stability. Like the triangular shaped seat.

The item I purchased was advertised as being a customer return in good used condition. If I hadn't known that, I would definitely have assumed it was new. It arrived in original packaging and pristine condition. This "used" stool allowed me to purchase something I would not normally have afforded myself. I have been using the stool for a couple of weeks and definitely notice a difference. I believe it is helping me be more mindful of my posture, as well as keeping me more active during the day. I added this to my office configuration following the purchase of a standing desk riser and appreciate I can raise it to a height that allows me to be in more of a standing position while "leaning" on the stool for support. I do not work in a clean office environment but the item seems to be holding up well under the atypical conditions (fleet service center). The only downside I have noticed would be the stool's lowest height does not allow me to work at desk level but I am learning to adjust by raising my standing desk riser slightly off the desk surface. I'm thinking it may actually be a more appropriate ergonomic height given my legs are at 90 degrees while seated. Being on the plus size side, I would appreciate more padding on the seat, but the stool itself accommodates my larger size just fine. Despite mocking from my coworkers, I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking to end the cycle of feeling worn out from sitting most of the day. :)
