I bought these from Harbor Freight for years to use as an additional step for my work Sprinter Van side door.Wish I had a better memory bcuz I forgot about them a few times.Ran over a couple, just plain completely forgot and left one at my stop (somebody got a free one). That was the last one from Harbor Freight. Can't buy em there anymore!I'm really careful about the 2 I bought here.Better material and construction but about double the price. These will outlast me as long as none of the previously mentioned, lame-brained history lessons happen again.Buy em!

I'm 6' 2", but changing recessed ceiling bulbs was a reach too far. Haul-Master's stepstool was the answer. It was also the solution when grabbing for something on the top shelf of a kitchen cabinet, and trying to install the blanking panel above a window air conditioner. Be conscientious about how best to orient yourself on the stepstool, though...there's nothing to hang on to if you focus too much on your task and not enough on how you've positioned yourself. A little practice should solve that problem. And though the Haul-Master folds easily, the legs don't fold flat against the platform, so you will lose some storage space. But in summary, I find this stepstool indispensable for a variety of tasks involving "elevation."

I used to use a 3 step ladder, that collaspes, but wanted something I could use/leave in the home. This is perfect, for top cabinet, changing out a light bulb etc, and stores nicely, doesn't take up much space. Thank you!

I use it for everything. Sturdy, handy and easy to use. Really nice for shorter folks and it's easy to carry around. I keep one in my truck at all times. This one is for the shop as I ran over my other one with the tractor after fueling. Senior moment. Wouldn't be without one!

I love this stepstool. It provides the perfect height for reaching things out of the cupboard, cleaning ceiling fans in my kitchen, bedroom and den.It also gave me the height to reach and clean roof of my SUV. M.y husband uses it to reach and clean out the gutters. He's tall but he needed just a few more inches of height to get the job done without having to pull out the humongous step ladder. It took his 315 lb weight like a champ.

This is a really sturdy stool. The pluses are the legs lock into place, they fold and there is a carrying strap. When you stand on it you really feel secure. The negatives are the legs don't fold flat against the platform and for a 5'2" person the stool is a little too high for me to step up comfortably (I need a stool to step up on to the stool).

I'm nearly 300 lbs and this thing supported me like it was a concrete step. My use for this is probably a little different than others, but I'm a professional videographer, and I finally got to use it for what I intended it for. To step up above crowds and shoot over heads. This thing is just great. You can sit on it to organize your bags or prepare your bags for a shoot - carry it around by it's strap is handy. And it folds up pretty neat. You just can't go wrong no matter what you're buying it for.
